It's been about four years since I've posted on here. Admittedly, I'm not the most politically minded or astute so I feel like I don't relate here necessarily. Nonetheless, I understand the direction social media is going in and would like to have another place to lay my head, figuratively speaking. I'm not very good at it, but I'll try to update here and there, be it with dumb silly topics or my actual serious political opinions.

The incident in Jacksonville today makes me infinitely more cynical about the gun control and mental health debates. I'd love to see these issues resolved in my lifetime, but at this point, I have no faith in it. But hey, thoughts and prayers right?
