People say "call someone if you need to talk." I did and nobody picked up. Therefore I will just use this space to vent even if nobody sees it. Maybe I will feel better. I've been thru hell.
My therapist dropped the ball on my care after my old one got a new job. It took a month to get into her. Saw her once then had to go another month without care before I could see her. That typical "all booked up" BS.
After I saw her again, didn't she tell me she was going on vacation for a month! Wow, another month without care. Mind you I see her every two weeks, down from seeing someone every week due to severe PTSD
After begging and pleading with her to get someone to fill in while she was out, someone saw me once the whole month she was on vacay.
I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s embarrassing to my profession and it’s negligent to you. It makes me cringe knowing you were treated this way.
You deserve better. Remember you’re hiring the therapist. They work for you. Same with doctors, plumbers, accountants, etc.
I hope you get it sorted out & can work with someone who is really invested and who is a good fit for you.
