Today I learned they're planning a new megacity in #Germany, #Belgium, and the #Netherlands. 45 million citizens! The project is called #Tristate City. They basically want to combine the entire Ruhrgebiet, Belgium and the Netherlands into one giant city. I'm floored.

Interesting experiment. Somebody is going to have to design a new system of governing. The old methods have worn thin. They were designed for a smaller world. They don't scale. Humanity needs the adults in the room to step up and lead the way.
@Jeber What you're saying is very true. I'll keep a close eye on them.
If it ever comes to fruition, it might be a bit like Songdo in South Korea, or Takeshiba in Japan, both touted as "future cities."
