Why does my cat want to drink out of taps? He has a water container. I don’t blame him I guess because I’m sure the water in his container gets “old” but does he just want to copy me? Cats are hilarious.

My dog always has water in her bowl but anytime she goes out into the back garden she drinks from the Koi ponds. Dogs eat cat poop. Maybe fish poop has an equally enticing flavor.
@Jeber I mean maybe yeah. My cat sneaks sips from the toilet too.
