Taught this weekend, waiting for group to begin. He's so smart! Will be polishing this up into a crisp and swift spin into a freestack.
Also recently taught him a seated hug, and will train some more fun "tricks" and get his trick dog title.
@JeSsA heh--that 'spin' command was a lifesaver for me when Nandor was refusing to come in. We have not taught 'come' (cuz we're dumb) but spin is so easy that we're good with that.
It's happened several times that giving Nandor the 'spin' prompt gets him to come into the house to spin & get a treat.
@rpardee ohh I love this! Do what works best for your dog! I taught come, or, tried anyhow, and these sassy arse dogs took a long ass time (and a couple vibration prompts with their eyes collars) before they ever acknowledged they knew what it meant. Gidee, my angel, used to make me see red, making a game of NOT coming.
