@cjcrew Same with me. I ordered yesterday ans it took them 1.5hrs to deliver. An hour of that was spent going back and forth on the same 2 roads, and despite me messaging the driver directions, if he was lost. It was another 45min from then before he messaged he was lost. I gave directions for 2 different ways again, and it was 30 min from then before he FINALLY called and I stayed on the phone til he got here. It's not difficult to find, but GPS sends to an empty subdivision behind us🙄🙄
@cjcrew that's awful- and exactly why I text him directions right off the bat. He never responded, and I was stuck watching the map showing him going here there and everywhere but where I told him lol.
@JeSsA I hated that job anyway. I always get lost at least once when I’m trying to find someplace. We used to call it a victory lap whenever we had to go in circles before finding our destination. My sister-in-law used to say my brother had an excellent sense of direction. I have little to no sense of direction.
@JeSsA I ran into something like that when I did deliveries for Panera’s. I ended up driving down a dirt lane to a river and around the same circle for at least 45 minutes before the customer called to find out where their order was. I’d been calling the shop but they couldn’t get hold of the customer.
What pissed me off is the customer know that GPS did that but didn’t tell us until I’d spent an hour trying to find them. Thank goodness I was driving the work van and not my car.
