Oh man, did I just get lucky. Took dogs out to potty, I see something, I think, but dismiss it as the wind blowing a stick or leaves. Then, I see it again. Deer. Not one, multiple. Not 25ft away. DeeDee caught a glimpse, but the one moving froze as she turned her head. Thankfully that was enough to throw her off & she refocused on peeing. Gidee was oblivious, facing the opposite direction, doin his thing. Their noses were goin, they definitely knew they were around, but shadows & trees saved me.
Pretty sure it was these 4. We encountered them this morning and I ended up having to chase my damn dogs cuz they went to visit the deer. Thankful these deer aren't very intimidated and stopped after a few hundred feet, and after threatening (empty threat but🤫) their lives if they didn't get their asses back to me my fools turned around. I always check the backyard for them before taking the dogs out. That one is on me. I checked out back but didn't think to look out front & there they were.
