Wildest part of my day wasn't grooming 9 dogs. It was when I got home. Had the dogs out. There were 2 deer in the field, watching us. Then, all of a sudden they started running to the tree line snorting & stomping. I look up & they're chasing off a bobcat! They retreated back up towards us, started grazing, then again charge the tree line snorting and stomping. Bobcat was back! It was almost like they were protecting us as well as themselves. It was crazy. I took this video after I came inside💜
@whonat I mean it sounds weird, but it's what was happening! The part of the field we were in isn't that big,and we were pretty close. Like throwing distance. They were very aware of us, but not seemingly intimidates. But, boy, soon as that Bobcat came into the field just a few feet, they were on it and off after them chasing back into rhe woods.
Knew we have coyotes. Guy came and dispatched 2 from my deck the other night. Didn't know about the bobcats! New thing to worry about in the dark 😅
