Went to The Tractor today. DeeDee was with me. Had a man offer me $100 & a bag of dog food for her.🤣

After she did this yesterday, while I was at work, I half considered his offer!😅

He was kidding & I would never, really.
But, ooh boy. Let's just say she & were not on speaking terms last night. That dog food bin? FULL. 50lbs. I had put it in front of the crate. She was outside crate.

When I say that b!tch.. I mean THAT. BÃŽTCH.

Good thing she's cute and I adore her.

@cjcrew yup. Sure did! Bent, chewed, broke and crawled through! Not a scratch on her.

@JeSsA Wow! I used to have a crate that would have been perfect for you. Bought it before they started making them so flimsy. It was solid, but it wasn’t fully tested so I don’t know how solid. Sigmund was the one who used it, it was too small for the Rotties, and Sig wasn’t a dog who would destroy to escape. He was an alien dog, far superior to most dogs and all humans. He would have teleported out of the crate if he wants to escape but he loves me and knew I just wanted to keep him safe.

@cjcrew I'm going to have to get her one of those thick bar metal ones, when I have the money! She's never had separation anxiety. She had, what I suspect, is a damn tantrum. She is in season. I crated her and had her in a closed room. Pretty sure she was mad her brother was out and she wasn't.

@JeSsA Ah! I only had one dog who really had to be crated and after a couple years of it he was able to be left out. After that I’d leave the X-ray open and he’d go in there when he was tired or stressed. Or whenever certain kids would visit. One in particular, Sigmund did not like him at all and he wasn’t a wild or obnoxious kid. I watched him try to interact with the dog and he didn’t do anything wrong. I think he was just afraid and Sig picked up on the fear.

@JeSsA I had a 110 pound Rottweiler manage to somehow squeeze through the locked door. He was out and the cage was shut and locked. He did it without doing damage to the crate, something I never understood.

@JeSsA Incredibly so. Does your dog have separation anxiety? Sigmund once ate a couch, then had diarrhea all over it. He ate my parent’s wedding pictures. He ate an entire apple pie once. Another time he ate 12 chocolate and 18 vanilla cupcakes. He was the master of counter surfing. Extremely intelligent and could not be left outside a crate until he entered a double digit age.

@JeSsA I'm glad she didn't get hurt though.

When I was in AZ I found a dog. I wasn't allowed to keep him where I was renting so some friends took him. He ate through a plastic crate, then a metal crate, and when they left him in their garage he chewed a hole through their garage door to get out! I talked to my landlord and got him back. 😄

@nonayadambidnes ohhh holy heck! That poor dog sounds like they struggled with separation anxiety badly. That and or a spitz- like breed notorious for being escape artists. I'm so glad you got them back

@JeSsA He was a pitbull cross and he'd been abused, I think he was just scared.

But I got him back and had him his whole life. Never had any escape attempts, but I never tried putting him in a crate though lol.
