In a song by Harry Belafonte he jokingly instructs his band leader. "never turn your back on the masses man, they'll come up behind you and trample you to death!"
Doug Ford on the other hand needs to know that these people are not joking. This could (and should) go very badly for him and his government.
Unless they use the Trump playbook and just double down and plow ahead. He's got 3.5 years left and no real opposition.
