Jerry Springer died . . .

He was a politician so normally I wouldn't care, but I actually appreciated his angle.

He showed us at our very worse, sometimes conflagurated in order to generate interest, but the core of the despicability was intact.

His show was hated by critics and called the downfall of humanity and degenerative.

If you don't enjoy looking into the mirror he held up, change it.

People suck, his show was a good reminder. Easily seen from the outside, sometimes harder inside.

There was a time that I actually enjoyed his outrageous show for the simple fact that he shone that light while he was judged for it. The show did get old for me, but I always appreciated his message at the end: "take care of yourselves, and each other." To me, it was like he was trying to say "be better" without singling anyone out.

I was surprised and saddened to hear he passed, but also, I completely forgot that he was also a politician...
