@LisaSnapped man, the noobies are indeed coming out in droves! This is awesome! I was told a little while ago about that and it never even clicked until Tom Green mentioned CoSo on the bird app & I was like 'hey, I have a CoSo acct, but haven't used it in a while,' then I come back here and was told I picked an interesting time to come back.
@Jax_Wild_4_Life I saw someone mention it, too, and came back today as soon as I found out about the sale going through. I'm not deleting my other account elsewhere just yet, but I am fairly certain that day will come. I'm pretty angry about this bird app/Elon debacle.
@LisaSnapped yeah idk if I'm angry, annoyed, confused or just concerned right yet about it, but yeah ... I've been fairly opinionated about censorship & apps selling my info for years which is a big part of why I started using an online alias across all apps in the first place with sock acct e-mails. But yeah I get it.
@Jax_Wild_4_Life I'm angry because it's the straw with everything else that's happened over the last, oh, 7 or 8 years, and Russia invading Ukraine, and... now this and I'm fed up with these entitled men thinking they have to take things over. Naw, I'm definitely angry. I passed annoyed and concerned a while back, but I understand. I have a few years on you, so maybe I'm just a little more tired, lol.
@LisaSnapped no I get all that, believe me! I'm pissed off and fearful of what's happening in Ukraine and now Russia's bombing one of their own states (a government building today in Moldova!) For cryin out loud! It's like Putin just wants WWIII because he's pushing for it. I hope he gets taken out altogether tbh. But the Twitter thing, I'm concerned about for sure. I never liked Elon Musk. A self entitled prick with his parents' money to start whatever company he wanted and now look at him...
