I feel like Alina Habba wasn't even a lawyer 5 years ago.
I feel like a Djinn granted her a wish, [that being "to be a lawyer,"] and the hidden self destruct the Djinn concealed in granting the wish was that she could BE a lawyer, but with none of the skills or knowledge that would come along with that kind of specialized education.
