@Nadinbrzezinski
And the android app for COSO is rubbish but the desktop experience is much better. Will be getting my laptop out at home.
@lastshadow Last time there was a large influx of people going pro it broke... it may not be the same problem this time but hang in there, J will get it sorted out. @Jallaj1 @Nadinbrzezinski
@Brisse @Jallaj1 @Nadinbrzezinski I get :"We are unable to verify certain elements of your account."
I guess I have some rogue elements.
@lastshadow @Brisse @Nadinbrzezinski
I'm sure we all have rogue elements 😂
@Jallaj1 @Brisse @Nadinbrzezinski I've never been accused of compliance.
@lastshadow @Brisse @Nadinbrzezinski OK got mastodon working. How do you do DMs? Can't find that.
@Jallaj1 @Brisse @Nadinbrzezinski you are further along than I am. You are now our teacher.
@lastshadow @Brisse @Nadinbrzezinski
lol if im your teacher we're in trouble! 😂
@Brisse @lastshadow @Nadinbrzezinski
Understandable...hanging in there
@Brisse @lastshadow @Nadinbrzezinski
No worries. not going anywhere.
@lastshadow @Nadinbrzezinski
ok I'm lost what's a "mastodon capable app" I have pro. 😂
@Jallaj1 @Nadinbrzezinski
From the userguide
"Phone Apps - New users who want to use a third-party mobile app need to first sign up for a Pro account.
CoSo is compatible with most Mastodon apps: https://counter.social/apps.html
Important: The app will ask for your instance, enter ‘Counter.Social’ The app will ask for permissions to post,
block, unblock, etc., say ‘yes’ these are permissions necessary for the app to post to Coso. Counter.Social is not
responsible for the function of third-party apps."
@Jallaj1 @Nadinbrzezinski I've been using the Tusky Mastodon client on Android
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details
@Jallaj1 @Nadinbrzezinski According to the userguide you can use other mastodon capable apps if you "go pro". I'm on IOS and the font size is too small for my eyes, so I wanted to try another app. My attempts to go pro have failed. Waiting for help.....
