@LivEGirl @J_Windrow I think the mistake was not checking all locations for documents as soon as the Trump melodrama took place. Mainly because it was easy to forecast that the GOP desperately needed to divert public attention from the Trump situation, as usual.

@pkatlga23 @LivEGirl There is also the issue of copies. As we all know, most people have to go to secure areas to read these materials. The thing is that people like the President and VP can't always run out and do that.

However, it's like accidentally walking out the store with something, saying, "Oops," and going back in to pay for it or return it vs. realizing you have something you shouldn't and then stuffing it in a pocket and running like hell.

@J_Windrow @LivEGirl I have no real knowledge of either case. But my inclination is to think DT intentionally took documents and did not want to give them back. For JB, I tend to think staff packed up files without through scrutiny and review. Both wrong, but DT seems to have had deliberate intent.
