@kel and I gotta say for everyone else who may not listen... going out in deadly cold and severe weather conditions is scary for emergency responders.

Don't like life harder for them. I got lost in the ice fog and crept up to a light and parked my rig next to it - got out and found out it was a bank time/temp so I knew where I was again.

When you can't see the side of the road with foglights on and you drive with one tire in the gravel by the side of the road to save a life get out their way

@Annothername @kel The cops were out a lot more than the CPS workers were, but there were always priority 1 emergencies where we had to take kids into custody.

I was out more than I wanted to be. If I could have stayed home all that time I would have.

My kid was taken care of by the wife of the doctor next door because it was too dangerous to take her to the baby-sitter.

One day the doctor ran out to his car to respond to an emergency, jumped in his car and shattered the leather seat.
