Walk dog. 10 minutes later rain begins.

Dog believes she will melt. Sprint back to house.

Rain stops.

Check weather: Rain in one hour.

Walk dog. Halfway around the block—rain starts.

Dog insists she’s leaving wet candy footprints.

Make it to the back door, towel dog off.

Ten minutes later: rain stops.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Next time I’m putting her in a raincoat. Even though she’s not fond of them.

@J_Windrow My dogs LOVE to jump in lakes and streams, but when I walk them and it starts raining, I get these side-eye WTH looks and huffy sighs of disgust.

@lifeinthePNW my dog is water phobic unless she’s drinking it. You are lucky. When I lived near the Pacific she was convinced the ocean was out to get her. Lake Champlain was the same thing. Poor girl.
