As one of the furloughed feds from a science funding agency wondering when I'll see the inside of my office again, I'd just like to tell my fellows to hang in there.
This, too, will pass, and we'll be back.

@JWilliams I'm so sorry, man. I wish it could be different. I wish there was more us regular citizens could do besides call our reps & ask them to actually, you know, represent us & what *we* want. (Things like real science, and actual facts instead of alternative ones. Humanity that has some element of the "humane" in it.) I hope you get back in your office soon.
