Fun fact…once upon a time in most of Indiana, we didn’t need to change our clocks. We changed time zones, though; Central for winter, Eastern for summer. It was cool in the fall/winter when MUST SEE TV started at 7 instead of 8, and the local news was at 10, not 11. Daylight Savings Time messed the whole thing up.

I wonder why they changed. We were standard time when I moved from Indiana in 2000.

@Mrsbigboy They adopted DST for purely financial reasons, something to do with worker/farmer productivity, blah blah blah.

@Mrsbigboy April 2, 2006 was the official start, with Indiana being the 48th state to adopt DST.
