The problem with Reddit is if they give into the often power tripping mods protests, the platform will essentially reward the badly behaving mods.
And don’t come at me saying bad mods don’t exist. They do and it’s pervasive.

@JKxZ that’s fair, but it would be just as bad to not give into reasonable requests just because of the bad mods. They should just look at each situation on its own merit.
