Polls were busy today. A few showing up with Trump T-Shirts and MAGA hats. This election is even more stress inducing than 2016.
Were the people electioneering at a polling place turned away?
@mcfate they were among the voters
Did they get sent home after being told to lose the hats and shirts? They're supposed to have been.
@JKMooney Good to know who the Nazis and Klan are.
@JKMooney Did you kick them out for electioneering? It's illegal in many states:

@sfleetucker it does not appear that apparel is prohibited in my state.
@JKMooney UGH. Sorry you have to tolerate being visually assaulted by Nazis.
@JKMooney in those cases do they get sent away?
@JKMooney
Is that allowed in your area?
It's banned here. No clothing, hats,, etc can be with within 100' of the door of the polling place
@JKMooney
As I recall, it's against election law to bring any material, even worn clothing, inside a polling location that endorses any candidate or party.
Ok, I got the official ruling for my state (Maryland). You can wear political attire if you're just showing up to vote, but you may not linger outside the polling place. Election workers, on the other hand, may not wear political attire at all.
