Ok, maybe Matt Gaetz get's neutralized or even even driven out altogether, but there's also a real good chance Jordan takes over as Speaker. Dems had a chance to prove they were the "adults in the room" but, instead, may have allowed the situation to get worse.

They can't pass a defense bill, you think every single Republican in the House loves Jordan? Why? What about Scalise? Will he get zero votes?
There's a "real chance" that a flipped coin will land on its edge, but it's not large.
I mean, two guys with enormously inflated egos, no unwillingness to ever back down, and exaggerated senses of their own importance fighting over ONE chair, what could go wrong here?
