In a divided country how do we do a hard reset and get things done, empowering people and minimizing mis/disinformation?

I've lain awake lots of nights wondering about this myself.

It unfortunately boils down to "How do we deprogram at least a third of the population?"

There's an awful lot of people who are so fact-resistant that they're taking all of us down with them at this point. ☹️

Maybe.

The German people post-WWII were *ashamed.* They went to great lengths to make sure everyone understood the history of what had been done in the name of "nationalism."

The people here and now are not ashamed in the least and they're working very hard to suppress real history. Along with everything else they're doing.

Dark Money needs to be removed from politics (eliminating super pacs)
We need actual journalism, not infotainment
We need term limits
We need cult deprogramming
We need social media to be serious about separating the fact from fiction

@JGNWYRK @Tarnagh @Museek we need to highlight things like the fact the Dem party leadership helping to kill Senator warrens stock bill that would have made it illegal for legislators to own individual stocks.
Lots of work to undo 40 years of the infiltration of big money’s grip on our legislators
