Question for you lovely CoSo people:
Is 53 too 'old' to go back to school to get a piece of paper so that someone might hire me since I've not 'worked' in 10 years due to health issues.
I've looked at a lot of help wanted ads in the past 6 months and the vast majority require some sort of degree for even entry level jobs.
No, not at all.
You may find that many institutions "court" you as they try to augment their student enrollment--college isn't for traditional-aged students so much anymore <3
@Itsjustme I changed my entire career 4 years earlier than that, and went into medicine from working in the media. Best decision ever! (My health issues came now, later and I can't work - but I LOVED my 2nd incarnation)
