AS OF RIGHT NOW ON PEACOCK I'm watching an "SVU" episode that I've actually NEVER SEEN BEFORE.

Hargitay is undercover on an eco-terrorist beat (getting fucked with by fashy cops, no less) and Vincent Spano is her Fed handler?

Yeah, I'll continue to watch this. 🤓

Ugh.

Spano outs her as a cop and the fashy OR cops blah blah blah.

Nevermind. 🙄

Zzzzzzzzz....

@JoyfullyDazed

SVU and CI (and Modern Family and Will And Grace and The Nanny, believe it or not) kept me semi-sane from '16ish to '21ish. We'll see what I watch now...when it's not baseball season, that is. 😎

@InUnfunky

I watched The Nanny religiously. I had a crush on Charles Shaughnessy when he was on Days of Our Lives in the 80's, when I used to watch soap operas.

@JoyfullyDazed

Lol he was in the SVU episode RIGHT BEFORE the one that's on now (w/Spano). Weird! 😆

@InUnfunky

I loved Spano in Indian Summer, (one of my favorite movies). I'm guessing you probably never saw it bc it's a chick flick, kinda sorta. Had a few good actors though - Bill Paxton, Diane Lane, Elizabeth Perkins, and the great Alan Arkin.

@JoyfullyDazed

So you're saying I don't watch chick flicks? 🤔 😮 😆

(cough "Notting Hill" cough cough)

No, I DID NOT see that one.

Is "A League Of Their Own" a chick flick? Cuz I've seen that almost as much as "Caddyshack." 😂

Vincent Spano? I only remember him from "Rumble Fish."

😀

@JoyfullyDazed

BTW supposedly Perkins lives in Halifax, right on the VT/MA border. Peeps see her with some frequency in both Bratt and Greenfield. Supposedly.

I never have. 🤔 😉 🤓

@InUnfunky

I've heard that, too.

I'm more excited about Steven Tyler living in Lake Sunapee NH, which isn't far from me...it's not real close either, but still... 😂🤓

@JoyfullyDazed

Yes, but did you know that "Dude Looks Like A Lady" was about Vince Neil? And that Joe Perry was concerned that it might offend the trans community? And that co-writer Desmond Child said "I'm gay -- so what?" LOL

@InUnfunky

I did. Except the part about Desmond Child.

@Bix is a walking DJ and you're a walking music trivia buff. The two of you should have a podcast.

@JoyfullyDazed @Bix

Yeah but Bixie wants me to go hang with him in Dixie at the OBX and I don't wanna. Even if @CinnamonGirlE wants to hang and sing "Wild Horses" together.

❤️ 🤓

@InUnfunky @JoyfullyDazed @Bix
Hey! What wrong with the OBX, wild horses and hanging out with us??

@CinnamonGirlE @JoyfullyDazed @Bix

(Lolz not a thing, Cinni! ❤️ Let’s see what Bixelicious sez…🤔😆😝)

@InUnfunky @Bix @CinnamonGirlE

But, the three of you in a podcast, with Cinny's singing, I'm tellin' ya, insta hit. 😊🤓💞

@InUnfunky @Bix @CinnamonGirlE

I hear ya. I tried listening to Michael Imperioli and some other guy from The Sopranos do their podcast about show, ten minutes in I was done. I tried a few others, including Rachel Maddow, but the same thing happened. I was bored.

@Bix @JoyfullyDazed @CinnamonGirlE

When I delivered pizza (S Tpa, ‘97-‘99) I got so tired of music 😱 that I checked out books on tape from the library; every Stephen Jay Gould and Shirer’s “History Of The Third Reich.”

Haven’t listened to one audiobook since then.
🤷🏻‍♂️

Ah, memories…

@InUnfunky

I stand corrected. Notting Hill is a bigger chick flick than Indian Summer.

I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy... 😂🤓

If you like Alan Arkin, I recommend Indian Summer. It's a feel good movie. If you went to summer camp, which I did, the movie brings back memories. I think I've seen it at least 10, maybe 12 times.

@JoyfullyDazed

OH RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT

That movie with THAT QUOTE that you quoted. OF COURSE.

Okay, gimme a sec...

Sam Raimi? What the hell...

@InUnfunky

Yes, Sam plays Stick...it's a small role, but he adds some fun comedy.
