Heather CR has an explainer (from 10/22) re what this tariff bullshit is really all about...but recall Herr Drumpkopf already pulled that stunt during his first stint, resulting in record farm bankruptcies and a Potemkin trade war with Chynuh...that culminated in the stupid DJT/Xi pix where they shook hands. (This was also when DJT was fluffing Xi over the nascent corona bug as well as covering up Uighur slave labor but I digress.)
