I know what you’re missing- the “trick” where you could skip to the next track by hearing the current track whizz by very quietly at hyper-chipmunk speed as the deck searched for a moment of quiet. Like a Ska version of Pachelbel’s Canon… So very high tech.

BTW, I am OK with still using mini-discs - I mailed my old MD recorder to The Guv. He wanted it.
