I'm not a big fan of the dance hall style Ray Davies loves so much but I was convinced to go see them by a friend. It was a fun show and no fights broke out between the brothers.

Surprise opener - Cheap Trick on a very early tour.... It's not wise to spring a surprise on Kinks fans. They booed and heckled though that set.
But srsly tho —
I don’t remember if I’ve EVER seen an opening band get booed off the stage.

They played their set... it just was ugly... Lots of folks went out to the lobby for more drinks.
