Hey upper New England!
I found my first tick yesterday.
Be careful out there; we do have the Lone Star variant…
One fell out of a tree onto my chest in Bucks County PA. Glad I saw it climbing.
@LnzyHou @InUnfunky Yikes, and yucks!
I've never felt better about being an indoor critter 😃
@LnzyHou @InUnfunky nasty little critters, on a side note my wife is from Bucks County
Son in Sellersville
@InUnfunky I try not to look for them...
We've had GREAT results from Permethrin treatment of clothing/gear in combo w/DEET-based spray on exposed skin.

When I lived in Plymouth back in the '80s, it was routine to have to do tick checks every time I mowed the lawn. They were abundant and evil, and the closer you got to Bourne, it seemed, the more of them there were.
@InUnfunky They really need to develop the tick vax for humans... :/ (not to prevent ticks.. just eliminate their infections...)
