I read H. P. Lovecraft's "The Call of Cthulhu" twice. I tried to like it because it is an important horror story - I could not do it.
I tried to like like or at least appreciate his nonsense cuz Metallica but, alas...just like trying to like Phish (in '94, cuz musician friends and the hot hippie chicks) I just couldn't take the trip, brah.
And no, I STILL don't like Phish despite living in VT. That's why I emphasize SOUTHEAST VT. 😎
