Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble...

@InUnfunky Unless those responsible are going to make the USG whole again I'm with the Republican on this one. There has to be a line on spending somewhere.
There's a reason I call them 'RepubliKKKlowns'.
I guess Pennsylvania bridges are exempt from this kind of thinking.
Unbelievable
@InUnfunky Wow. It's almost like they put profits before people, and their entire organization should be dismantled, and we should fundamentally alter corporate law so that shareholder profits are not allowed to be their primary mission, and instead the mission should be providing benefit to communities and humanity.
@InUnfunky My predictions:
Our tax dollars will pay for all the damage. Probably low-bid contractors will do the work, then cut corners and claim cost overruns so they'll squeeze out much more than promised.
Any corporation that feels like raising prices and slowing production will use this as an excuse to say "supply line issues" and we'll pay more for stuff that is artificially scarcified.
...
@InUnfunky Maersk and Synergy will drag out a shell game of "it's someone else's fault", then pay a tiny fraction of the damage, years from now.
Traffic will be snarled, causing more infrastructure degradation and inconvenience and economic damage, and expense that will be born by workers and taxpayers.
