Yeah, they were textualists until a plain text reading didn't get them where they wanted to go...
States could write laws with the same language and it would be legit for them to keep insurrectionists off the ballot

And if they'd gone along with Colorado, what would have stopped Abbott and DeSantis from calling Biden an "insurrectionist" and kicking him off THEIR ballots?
