@InUnfunky between trials, effects from debts, and whatever gumbo of cognitive issues Trump has, it’s possible he’s going to make a gaff that peels off sufficient support or some obvious health thing he might not be the GOP candidate. Or he will and his flying monkeys and benefactors engineer the General Election in his favor. Very exciting times!

I'm thinking the deplorables have totally gone 'round the bend; there will be nothing DJT could do that will cause them to bail. Act of God and he croaks sometime soon...if he kicks it, they won't believe it. If he gets convicted and sentenced, they won't care.
Postulating this, what do we suppose about the GOP? Do they continue down this road (with the MAGA loons) or make a break for a candidate who won't win?
