Every so often, the disquieting/surreal/ludicrous reality sinks in…AGAIN. This morning in the NYT we have this helpful chart with explanations and I’m reminded that the opposition party has become a real cult and is all but certain to nominate a candidate who’s EVEN MORE of a scumbag now than he was THEN.

@InUnfunky: It's been being told of since the outset of it all that what he's banking on and what Cannon is working to help him do is stall the trials long enough for him to (hopefully) win the Oval Office again, at which point he'll have his AG stop all investigations and prosecutions and/or pardon himself and everyone else.
I understand not why the NYT is writing about it as if it's new.
