Etheridge and 2/3 ZZ are country?

To me, ZZ was more interesting when the genre-blending was a bit more Tejano-ish AND weird ('70-'80), the country element being probably the least represented in those tunes. But good on the festival peeps being a bit more diverse...
Speaking of -- I heard some "modern country" the other day (at the mechanic's, natch) and was shocked at how obvious a blend of Def Leppard, RHCP, Pearl Jam, even rap it was. Melting pot! lol
