TFW when you have a flight to catch at 11 and you live 1-2 hours from the airport --maybe more if some lunatic highjacks a semi and rolls it on the freeway -- and you have to drop the car at long-term and check baggage and clear security and it's raining so you get up way early and bust ass to reach the airport by 9 -- and at 9:15 you're done and have nothing to do but wait.
I know, it's a good thing. Nothing to complain about.
@ImagineThat i remember when the longest we ever had to wait was 15 minutes and there was rarely a line anywhere. Also we could watch our loved ones planes leave from where they boarded. Pre 9/11.
