Today is hungry woodpecker heaven day here. Both downy and red-bellied woodpeckers are visiting frequently for suet. We just had a big drop in temperature. I wonder if that is making the birds extra hungry?

@peeppeepcircus @HopeSeeker apparently our little dino🐦⬛🦖🪿 friends do not have capsaicin receptors and are unaffected by it. There was no good way to keep the furbeasties away from my feeders, so my bird store gave me the hot-pepper bird feed. They eat it voraciously - and no more squirrels.🚫🐿️
