HiPOD 20 Jan 2023: An Inlet Channel to Jezero Crater

This image is one of many over the source region of the river delta in Jezero Crater. The Perseverance rover is exploring this delta and collecting samples that might be returned to Earth in the future, for detailed analysis.

This image shows part of the eroded channel leading to the delta, so a returned rock sample might have originated here.
