HiPOD 23 Nov 2022: Got Rhythmite?

To do science with rhythmite, one must map rhythmite! A rhythmite consists of layers of sediment or sedimentary rock which are laid down with an obvious periodicity and regularity. With this observation, we want to confirm and extend lovely rhythmite detection in Galdakao Crater.

Galdakao is an impact crater located on the rim of the larger Gusev Crater. It was named after Galdakao, a town in Basque Country, northern Spain.

Is sedimentary rock always created by water-born particulates?

@jurban Not necessarily: the wind can do incredible work given enough time.
