HiPOD 26 Jul 2022: Slowly Fading Away

Dust devils form the same way on Mars as they do on Earth, but how long might they take to fade away? Lifetimes of dust devil tracks have been broadly estimated in several cases based on their disappearance in successive images to be on the order of weeks to months on Mars as well as the Earth. Fading rates of dust devil tracks have not previously been measured, nor have lifetimes been reported based on their fading behavior.
