HiPOD 11 Apr 2022: Layering and Cross-Cutting Bands

This mound exhibits layering and cross-cutting bands that correspond to an iron/magnesium phyllosilicate composition elsewhere in mounds in Chryse Planitia. This particular mesa has a large surface area and excellent exposure, which is ideal for observations of stratigraphic relationships.
