It has come to our attention that hateful disinformation has been circulating on social media platforms regarding one of ProPublica’s employees, Emily Goldstein. Specifically, false claims have been made suggesting that she authored a 2015 article for Thought Catalog headlined “Yes, Diversity Is About Getting Rid of White People (And That's a Good Thing).”
Well hum here is the article and the Author named is the exact same
So, its not disinformation right?

Because the article is real and author is named the same albeit the name could be a pseudonym

Should there be a changing of the guard so to speak? Where we kick all the old White guys (and everyone else who's been there too long) out of power and start fresh with a mix of people from diverse backgrounds? Absolutely.
@Heucuva8 the theory is believe that white people are systematically being replaced by nonwhite immigrants. Some in the U.S. fear that America might lose its culture and identity as a result.
Diversity is seen as part of that theory
And Musk pushes that theory around in many shapes in many countries not just US
This assumes that America's primary identity is straight, white, Christian and male. This is what's known as a "faulty premise".

There are really EVIL people in the world. And I don't know their racial composition, but I'm willing to bet it stems from privilege...making White people more likely to be in that group.
That's not "Racism against White people", just statistics and probability.
Does that mean we should never have a White Man in power of any kind ever again? No. That's dumb.
White people have good ideas, as do people of all backgrounds. We should focus on the quality of the person's ideas, rather than maintaining some racial (or other) quota.
Anti-Racism is supporting people with good ideas, regardless of Race, not about balancing imaginary scales of "Power through the Centuries" by pushing the White people down. Everyone should be lifted up instead.

See, we agree. If for whatever reason, the people in power HAPPEN to be all one group or another, so be it. But I'm pretty confident we'll find a pretty wide cross section of groups in such a government. 🤷🏻♂️
