The Bill itself:

One part that raised my eyebrow was "to provide for certain employment activities to be exempt from minimum wage and overtime wage requirements; specify activities and instances that do not require an employer to pay minimum wage or overtime wage"

Exempt from Minimum Wage and Overtime Wage Requirements? The actual fuck?

@Heucuva8 KY here. I hadn't heard this before. Though, I was under the impression that if you were an hourly employee you got docked pay no matter what if you were late coming in and late for lunch. I will have to read this bill to find out what they mean. Good look'in out.

Np, I keep on top of this pretty regularly, for all the US. I just can't figure out what job you could hold that doesn't deserve to be paid for working more than 40 hours in a week. Or that is so worthless, that it doesn't need to be paid the bare minimum of what we consider livable.

And of course, this does not affect any of the top earners. None of them are in positions that would be considered for this. It's like once again they've decided certain people just aren't worthy. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

And if you travel to another site for work, they want to be exempt from paying you For the travel? And here I thought our corporate overlords were against marijuana use. Apparently it's another case of "rules for thee, not for me". Cuz they're smoking some really good stuff if they're wanting to just not pay anybody for work.
