#climate I am a grandfather with four very inquisitive grandchildren! When I was asked about climate extremes in the world, I had to confess:"My generation is guilty of not taking care of Mother Earth, from polluting oceans to carbon emissions to animal species extinctions!
They asked what could be done to correct the damage and after a long pause, I decided to be frank: "Your generation and your children's generation will have to work very hard to recover from the damage we caused."
Sigh!

@Helveticus Not absolutely sure. In fact, I'm not absolutely sure what I'd do with someone harboring such ludicrous falsehood. Are they merely idiots parroting what they've been told? Are they profoundly delusional? Are they more sinister than either of those possibilities? Beats me. But I'd say there's *definitely* something malfunctioning upstairs.😗
@Marc_T_Benedict Few people understand science, look at the antivax, so it makes sense for them that global weather predictions cannot be believed when all they see is their own climate!😭
