He knows that his chances of surviving that cancer are slim even though there is a 10% chance of a remission. Is he in the denial phase? No, he insists on enjoying life as long as possible.

The end of living is inevitable, naturally, but most of us fear the preamble, that is weeks or months in the hospital with constant pain! We all want to die in our sleep even though the choice is not in our hands!
