I will probably make a few people mad at me for saying that I fully support the decision by SCOTUS to end affirmative action for colleges and to allow service providers to refuse service if goes against their values!

Affirmative action for universities began in 2003 and in these 20 years it certainly helped many minority candidates access higher education!

But it was time to end it and base their acceptance on academic merit rather than skin color!

@Helveticus If the best would win then there’d be no problem. We know that’s not what happens. It’s always been about equity. I’m certainly not mad, but I disagree.

@SaltyVeruca Just remember that some Black students were admitted not due to their academic excellence but because they are athletes! When asked to comment on a football game, most of these (college) students can't even speak properly!
