Yes, Football is followed by millions (in the US), as it is considered an essential entertainment!

Banning football seems like an impossible task, or is it?

@Helveticus While CTE is most prevalent in American football and boxing, it is also not uncommon in soccer, rugby, hockey and wrestling. Probably MMA as well.

I don't know the answer, but banning a sport or multiple sports seems like a step the world is not wiling to take.
