There is a heated discussion of whether to allow males who became females to compete with women in sports!

The reason is clear, they have an unfair advantage caused by their high testosterone levels!

It seems illogical that a sport should adapt to the needs of a few transgender athletes, instead of simply stating that the sex at birth will determine participation in competitions!

And yet, the discussion rages on, thus creating unnecessary hardships for regular athletes!

@Helveticus I think this is complex. I lean towards testing testosterone levels of all athletes and putting them in the category they fit in. Stop calling it female or male and just have high testosterone and low testosterone divisions. I always lean towards science.

@TrueBloodNet I disagree, I can imagine the locker room atmosphere, hostile, if we mix athletes on the basis of hormones and not sex.

I believe some normal women have higher testosterone than the average female and that would cause chaos in the teams!

After all, we are talking of a very small minority of cases!

@Helveticus I'm going to go ahead and mute you. The use of the term 'normal' tells me you're trying to be hurtful rather than discuss a legitimate challenge.

And by admitting that some born females have more testosterone yet saying that's not an issue for them, your real motives became clear.
