The eternal question every generation asks: Would I want to restart my life now if given the choice or was my generation far better in all respects?
I, for one, born in the middle of last century, would say no restart, mainly because I see modern youth enslaved by gadgets!
I am also befuddled by the constant disputes regarding genders, as we were very happy with two (including homosexuals as a variation of the same gender).
Food for thought! 🤔
@ATXJane Again, I agree with you 100% as I was lucky enough as a graduate student in psychology to assist a young lady who felt a prisoner in a female body. She eventually made the transition successfully and became a HE!
No judgment ever!
Good for him! I hope he’s living a wonderful life.
@Helveticus
Having the honor of being good friends with a transgender woman many years ago cemented my preconceptions. It’s my belief that we are each in the position to know ourselves best & that that is wholesomely followed by the privilege of being able to present ourselves to our world (in the ideal, at least). A life lived in authenticity is a good one, particularly if prosocial values are part of it.
And…to each his/her/their own.
