@HappyAcademic CoSo removes all metadata from pics including orientation so it defaults to landscape. Making a tiny change to the pic, like cropping a tiny bit, will make it post properly in portrait. I'm not sure why, but it works.

The edit can be something like cropping the image slightly.

click on your handle > edit profile > preferences > ostrich mode > save changes.

@HappyAcademic Edit picture slightly, then save. Usually I slightly reduce the size of the picture, save it. Then upload it.
